چکیده
A technique that combines two-photon excitation (TPE), planar laser induced fluorescence (PLIF) and optical connectivity (OC) has been applied to capture the instantaneous geometry of a cross-section normal main direction core liquid jet exposed crossflow air during atomisation. This paper demonstrates nanosecond pulse can excite in an atomising Rhodamine B-dyed water jet. It shows TPE-PLIF on its own limitations interface air-crossflow The combination TPE-OC excites TPE-fluorescence at targeted axis fixed distance from exit eliminates individual techniques. optimisation instrumentation combined techniques associated image processing are described quantification structures, developing atomisation, surface is demonstrated.
